Award Construction Contract to Nieves General Engineering, Inc. for the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Transition Plan Implementation - ADA Curb Ramp Replacement Phase I, PW24-07 (REBID)
recommendation
That the City Council:
1. Award a construction contract to Nieves General Engineering, Inc. for the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Transition Plan Implementation - ADA Curb Ramp Replacement Phase I, PW24-07 (REBID), in the amount of $309,650; and
2. Authorize the City Manager to approve contract change orders up to twenty percent (20%) of the contract amount, or $61,930; and
3. Make a finding that this project is exempt from Multiple Species Habitat Conservation Plan (MSHCP) fees.
