Award Construction Contract to Newman Midland Corp. for the Fire Station 73 Gym/Garage Project, PW19-13
recommendation
That the City Council:
1. Award a construction contract to Newman Midland Corp. in the amount of $3,856,620 for the Fire Station 73 Gym/Garage Project, PW19-13; and
2. Authorize the City Manager to approve construction change orders in an amount not to exceed $385,662, which is ten percent (10%) of the contract amount; and
3. Authorize payment of $29,184.40 to the Western Riverside County Regional Conservation Authority for the Multiple Species Habitat Conservation Plan fee required for construction of the Fire Station 73 Gym/Garage Project, PW19-13.
