Award a Construction Contract to American Asphalt South, Inc. for the Citywide Slurry Seal Program - Fiscal Year 2020-21, PW21-01
recommendation
That the City Council:
1. Award a Construction Contract to American Asphalt South, Inc. in the amount of $1,546,980.04 for the Citywide Slurry Seal Program - Fiscal Year 2020-21, PW21-01; and
2. Authorize the City Manager to approve change orders not to exceed the contingency amount of $154,698, which is equal to 10% of the Contract amount; and
3. Make a finding that the Citywide Slurry Seal Program - Fiscal Year 2020-21, PW21-01 is exempt from Multiple Species Habitat Conservation Plan (MSHCP) fees.
